I hit the shabby chic jackpot over the weekend 

$1.99 Rachel Aswell....oh yes!!!

The long floral box is drawer liner, unopened and brand new.

Pretty green floral box for my papercrafting supplies and 2 gorgeous sugar bowls.....

I mean who gives that kind of stuff away?

I love this little guest towel holder, I think I will spray paint it a pretty light pink and use it on my vanity to hold my eye shadow pallets

I paid $8.00 for this beauty, I thought it was worth it

Well that is all, I need to get back to laundry and supper for my family

June is a beautiful month, our Anniversary is June 25th.

The (many) Blessings Of Motherhood

 

 

I am blessed to be the mother of 2, a boy and a girl who make my days sweet,  put a smile in my heart and a joy in my soul that is indescribable.

 

They lavished me with gifts today

 

 

 

 

 

      Heart warming cards

 My daughter gave me the Le Creuset carafe for my orange juice, My son gave me a Charming Charlie's gift card.......they both know me so well

 

These 2 are the reason I smile

 

 

   A daughter is a gift from God

 I am blessed to be her friend and Mother

 My son has a sentimental side too

 

 

 My husband always selects such meaningful cards

 My thoughtful and talented sweetheart surprised me with this for Mother's Day! I had mentioned to him that I wanted a Potting Shed and he built this on the side of my "she-shed". I was speechless, he even went to Walmart and bought me some gardening gloves, flower pots and those adorable wire baskets. He knocked it out of the park with this project and best of all.......it was a surprise!

 

 

 

 Everyday is Mother's Day when you are blessed with a loving family....take time to tell them everyday how much they mean to you.

 

 

 

50 Feels So Good !!!

Well I celebrated my BIG 50 this past weekend and oh do I feel BLESSED !!
Here is a picture of me with my princess tiara on.....feeling ever so special.

    I received some loving packages from my dear blog sisters. Patti at Paintin Patti sent these adorable hand made treasures to me

 

 

   The doll she embellished is beyond adorable and she knows how I love chickens.....she made this quilted piece and I have the perfect spot for it.

     A cute "Happy Birthday" banner, Patti is so creative!

 

    A chicken pin cushion..................love it!!!

 

 

I adore hand-made cards.....oh how she knows me. Blog friends are one of a kind.

My friend Deb sent a package to me too.....I am the happiest girl in the world !

 

 

 

I don't know where to begin, just so much  love and birthday blessings.

A bluebird charm of happiness



My husband knows what I like and he found this flatware chest at an antique shop

I'm going to paint it white, change out the hardware and use it to store my jewelry. I adore costume jewelry and love to accessorize my outfits so suffice to say, I will fill this beautiful chest.

 

 

It has beautiful bones and awesome dividers in the drawers

Cards mean so much to me, I cherish them and the sentiment they convey

 

 My son bought a sweet concrete bench for my garden and my daughter is taking me out of town for a spa & antiquing weekend........I couldn't ask for more

 

I was princess for a day and I am looking forward to the adventures the 2nd chapter of my life holds.

 

I give God all the glory for my blessings and hold dear the friendships I have made through

blogging.
