Food For Thought......

Regardless of how tired you are, resist the urge to leave your dishes dirty in the kitchen overnight. There is nothing more depressing for the lady of the house to wake up to a dirty kitchen.

No matter how I feel at the end of the day (or the end of the week), I always clean up my kitchen and tidy up every last inch of counter space. There is nothing better than walking into a clean kitchen, wouldn't you agree?

Have a lovely weekend,

He is so good to me.................

My Sweetheart and I went to Ventura over the weekend. He has never been to the Flea Market there so he was happy to book a little overnight trip to the beach. We shopped all day Saturday at the antique shops on Main Street and as we were wrappin it up, we decided "just one more store". Well he found this gorgeous piece and so lovingly bought it for me (ok for us).

The salesman said it is from the 1920's and it only cost $149.50 out the door. It was well worth it to us because we both like it and we both enjoy the thrill of the hunt for "old things" that make our house the place we call "home". I will share some of the beautiful things we found at the flea market and antique shops in my next post.
