Mission Organization

I am starting my new year in "organization mode". I am determined to GET and KEEP my craft room organized. I have some ideas in my head and surfed the internet for random pics to share. Note: NONE of the pics in this post are my craft room, I am just sharing some pretty ideas.

 

 

This is a simple and practical idea

I absolutely adore this butter yellow 3 tiered stand, its pretty, its functional and its unique. I have several 3 tiered stands in my storage shed I will be pulling out this weekend......oh the possibilities!

This room makes me smile, I love the bookshelf that serves as storage for bits and bows and crafting supplies. I bet my husband could build that for me.

Well I am filled with motivation and excitement to get my space in order. I will share pictures and ideas along the way. I am sure to tweak my ideas a million times, rearranging is a way of life for me.

Christmas Mail

Ding Dong at the front door could only mean one thing.......I have a package on my porch

 

 

My blog sister in Christ Deb from Garage Sale Gal sent this loving package filled with so many treasures.

 

 

Deb is by far one of my closest friends-in-the-heart. We have known each other for 10 years through blogging but have never met in person. She knows me better than some of my closest family members.

A beautiful sheet of Christmas words describing the birth of Our Lord.

   I thank The Lord for blessings like these and most of all for the blessing of a treasured friendship that would not have formed had it not been for the hand of God and of course the wonderful world of blogging. Its undeniable that blog sisters are one of a kind and very, very special.

 

I am almost done with wrapping all the gifts (that's my favorite) and I am so happy to be off all week to spend time with my son. Are you all ready for Christmas?

Girls Get Together & Christmas Decorations

 

Well its been a while since my last post.....life just gets so busy.

 I hosted a get-together with my long-time girlfriends from an accounting firm that we all worked together at years ago.

 

 

Setting the table is my favorite part.

"Mis-matched" is my middle name and that's just the way I like it. A holly tablecloth and napkins paired with gingerbread plates......its all Christmas and that's all that matters.

Each girl got a little mug with their initial on it and a chocolate dipped spoon. I found the mugs at Williams Sonoma, I absolutely love that store.

I love decorating the buffet in my dining room.

I made my famous chocolate bundt cake and displayed it in my Martha Stewart domed cake plate. My daughter blessed me with that beautiful pedestal plate last Christmas.

Let me sneak in a couple of pictures of my (adorable) son. He makes my heart smile.

My girlfriends who make memories to cherish through good times, laughter and love.

One more week of work then I am off for a week. I adore being home the Christmas week, baking, wrapping and enjoying my family.

 

 

Much Needed Time

3 Days off were heavenly! I had all the best of intentions to bring out all of my fall decor but spent my 3 day weekend just relaxing with my husband and our son. We have been going non-stop, stressed out and the holiday weekend break was just what we needed.

I found this cute corn pitcher at the Goodwill last week, I thought it was so perfect for my kitchen with some pretty sunflowers.......so"Fall-ish"

 I picked up some paper crafting goodies at Beverly's Craft & Fabrics......love that store!

I will be crafting on Friday, I took the day off "just for me".
