My sweet daughter is leaving the nest and going off to college this fall and she is the first in our family so we are sooooo proud of her. It is a loss of sorts to me as she will be on her own to make life decisions without me but I know I gave her a good foundation in God and good values to help map the straight and narrow road on which to travel.
After the life celebration for my brother-in-law we are off to Arizona to visit the campus and attend orientation, so I will be away from posting for a couple of days. I will have lots to share when I return. Thank you again my blog friends and family for all of your love for me during the past few months, weeks and days as I have been going through grief upon grief. I know that without God and the prayers you offered, I would never make it.....
Lots of love,
Debbie Kay

Debbie,
I'm new at blogging but I enjoy reading your blog and your creative ideas. What an exciting time for you and your daughter. All 3 of my kids have went to college and it has been such a good experience for them. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your loved ones.My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of grief. What an awesome God we share, I don't know how people cope without Jesus Christ in their lives. God Bless You...

Have a safe and fun trip. I know it's hard to let your little one grow up but I have no doubts that she is going to be fine. Look at how great her mommy is!
Give me a call when you get home and we can make some plans to get together.
Hugs,
Joanne
Congratulations on your daughter's recent graduation. My daughter graduated last year and headed off to Arizona too...ASU! She had a great first year and is looking forward to being a sophmore.
I'm so sorry to read that your Father passed away. Isn't it wonderful to know that he is with our loving Jesus right now though...with no suffering!
I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Take care!
What a beautiful daughter! You look more like sisters than mother and daughter! Have a safe trip!
