Blowin' in the WIND.....

As the wind howled over this past weekend here in Southern California, we were able to make the 30 minute drive to my friend Tina's house. Remember, the friend who offered me the BEAUTIFUL armoire for the cost of lunch? Gotta love Tina.

Well, here is the armoire in the "Before Stage" as my hubby and I agreed it should be painted (duh) White. So, I will be working on a day soon to undertake that project, in the meantime, we will enjoy it in its rather "dark finish" but BEAUTIFUL nonetheless. Oh did I mention it is BEAUTIFUL?

Of course I had to fill it with all of my treasures. I cannot wait to paint it and change out the hardware and give it a shabby chic look.

Iam looking forward to going to the Flea Market in Ventura at the end of the month. I am sure to find many more pretties to display in my lovely armoire.

I also scored these beautiful lamps from her "Goodwill pile". They really tie my living room together and the fact that she removed the beads from one lamp and not the other, really gives them character. Did you notice the first time you looked?

Til next time.....
