Liked it BEFORE, Love it AFTER...

Remember my silver tray/chalkboard dilemna? Well it's amazing what a little can of chalkboard paint can do to make me happy. I Love, Love, Love it! So simple to do and so beautiful in my kitchen. Thank you to those of you who voted YES to my idea! And now for the AFTER.....

While I had my creative juices flowing I decided to break out the can of white paint and change the look of these beautiful tiles I got for free from Southern Living. I had a party and with the help of my very good friends, I was able to earn several hundred dollars worth of free stuff. I love having parties and I love decorating so a Southern Living party was right up my alley.


BEFORE...... way too dark for me...........

AFTER............Shabby and oh so chic.........

They are a set of 3 but I forgot to take a picture of them (together) before I started painting. I will share them displayed on the wall above my couch in a future post.
