He is Risen

Easter is such a special celebration for me. Every year I am drawn closer to The Lord as I prepare Easter dinner for my family, attend church where we sing hymns exalting The Risen King and set out all the "springtime" goodies I have collected over the years.

I used everything I had on hand to put together this centerpiece. I don't give any credit to the "Easter bunny" because he didn't die on the cross for me. I just thought he would look festive on our table.

I used our "everyday" dinner dishes but I took out my new flatware that I purchased on clearance at Dillard's after Christmas.

 I found the little white basket name placeholders at the Goodwill. I added some sweet candy kisses for favors.
