Yearning For Fall

Its HOT!

Enough is enough already.....I welcome Fall with open arms. I am so looking forward to cooler nights, shorter days and the scent of Apple Pie baking in my oven.
My red candy scale has me in the mood for decorating my kitchen. I am constantly changing things around

I cleared off the top of the refrigerator. I like the simplicity of my little display
The little red basket holds my salt & pepper shakers & a little sunflower love

I found the lazy susan at the thrift shop and put together this little vignette

Picked up this little red sugar bowl at an antique shop for $5.00. The gal said its from the 1940's.

I think it looks cute on my coffee station
My sweet husband found this toy toaster and knew I would flip for it
This little cubby in my kitchen is where I like to display all the little treasures I find.

Hope you are keeping cool in your neck of the woods. School starts in a couple weeks for my son so its back to the schedule and routine.
I have to say, I enjoy the lazy days of summer but there is something to be said for the organization and discipline of a schedule. Bed time is earlier and the house settles down sooner and it just feels right.

Smiles,

Debbie

Oh I spy so many things that I would have bought for my kitchen, too! That toaster is too cute! I lov eit when our husbands support our love of vintage cute!

We had such a cold, wet spring and early summer that I'm not ready for fall yet! I wouldn't mind some rain, though. Everything is getting crispy!

Have a great day! ♥

Hi Debbie -

Love your vintage items! They bring back so many memories. I think my fav is the Scotch Thermos... I remember my Mom had a traveling pair in a travel bag and the round Scotch Cooler. Wish I had them now. Great memories!

Hugs, Edie & Marie

Thanks for stopping by & leaving a comment! I am fighting the urge to start decorating for fall because it is my favorite season & it has been a long hot summer here in Oklahoma.

I love your vintage decor, so cozy! I look forward to visiting again to see what you're doing.

Smiles,
Carol
